Asia’s Next Innovator Ideathon Thailand 2025

Are you an undergraduate student at Chulalongkorn University? Would you like to create ideas to solve social problems with technology? Join Asia’s Next Innovator Ideathon 2025 under the theme “Solving Social Problems with Technology.”
Topic (Choose only 1 topic)
– Healthcare – Agriculture
– Tourism – Education
* Each topic accepts only 3 teams
Team Structure
– Teams of 3 to 5 members
– Open to undergraduate students (1st to 4th year) from any faculty or discipline.
* Open to Chulalongkorn University students only.*
Important Rules
– Entries must be original and have not been used in any previous competitions.
– Teams violating these rules will be disqualified and ineligible for any prizes.
Event Date and Location – September 6th and 7th, 2025 at the CU Social Innovation Hub Day 1: Brainstorming and idea submission workshop with mentors providing advice and support
> Participants can prepare their ideas in advance or brainstorm on the day of the event. Presentation templates will be provided, but they are not required.
Day 2: Final Presentation on Stage in Front of a Panel of Judges
> All teams will present their work on stage (in English).
Food and Equipment
– Free to attend, but participants must bring their own laptop (no rentals available).
– Food and drinks will be provided throughout both days.
– Free ice cream!
Prizes
– One winning team per topic
– Each winning team will receive 30,000 baht in prize money
– Total prize value: 120,000 baht
Application Details
– Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
– Limited to 12 teams (3 teams per topic).
– Two reserve teams will be assigned per topic in case of disqualification. The number of reserve teams will be determined based on application time. Eight reserve teams will be accepted, totaling 20 teams. Applications will close once the number is reached.

> Participating teams will be announced on August 30.
> Confirm your participation between August 31st – September 1st
> Reserve teams will be notified if they are eligible to participate between September 2nd and 3rd.
